Aqeeqah & Animal Sacrifice
Aqeeqah and Sacrifice Project: Honoring Tradition and Sharing Blessings in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and The Gambia
To offer an Aqeeqah or sacrifice for a newborn child is the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his companions performed Aqeeqah upon the blessing of a newborn, with one sheep sacrificed for a girl and two for a boy. The Akhirah Team is honoured to support this beautiful tradition by facilitating Aqeeqah and sacrificial services in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and The Gambia. Through this project, we ensure that each sacrifice reaches families in need, bringing both spiritual fulfilment to donors and essential nourishment to communities. This initiative not only honours faith and tradition but also spreads joy and strengthens bonds within the community.
This project is Sadaqah eligible.
