Water Filtration Units
Providing Clean Drinking Water to Communities in Need. Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental right that many of us in the developed world take for granted. However, in the developing world, this privilege is not always available, leading to unnecessary loss of lives. The Akhirah Team is dedicated to changing this situation and improving the lives of thousands of people in these communities. By donating water filtration systems to Bangladesh, we can make a tangible difference and help save lives. These neglected communities will finally have access to clean and safe drinking water, allowing them to experience the joy and benefits that come with this essential resource. Your support during Ramadan is crucial in making this initiative a success. Together, we can provide clean drinking water to those who need it the most and contribute to a positive transformation in their lives. Join us in this noble cause and help make a lasting impact.
On our recent visit to Bangladesh, we witnessed first-hand the sheer scale of damage and devastation left behind in the wake of the latest floods to hit the country.
Thousands of homes have been damaged beyond repair or destroyed. Families with young children are living out in the open air with no access to clean drinking water. Vulnerable families are at the mercy of the elements with no food or shelter, battling to stay away from the increased risk of waterborne diseases.
It became evidently clear to us that the single biggest ordeal facing the people on the ground is their urgent need to overcome the difficulty of accessing clean drinking water. We have therefore launched our Water Filter Campaign to meet this desperate need. For just £15 you can help provide a water filtration unit which purifies drinking water removing dangerous toxins, including arsenic and other harmful chemicals. These filtration units can be used to provide clean drinking water to local schools so that young children can avoid being infected by waterborne diseases.
The gift of water can often bring communities back to life. Access to clean water opens many basic opportunities. It provides for healthy livestock, healthy people, improved agriculture, and sustainable livelihoods. By providing a water filtration unit in a deprived community you can directly transform the life of a struggling community. You will receive the reward for all the and more in sha Allah.
